  Sales Development Representative (Itasca, IL)

Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS) is currently seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our Itasca, IL team. This entry-level sales position is critical to growing revenue by engaging with current customers, potential clients, business referrals, and web leads.

 

The representative will qualify leads, provide prospective clients with an overview of our services, and guide them through the sales process to create customized solutions. Success in this role requires energy, strong communication skills, and a passion for building relationships and closing sales.

 

Pay Range:

$69,000 to $89,000, annually

 

Job Functions/Requirements:

  • Conduct cold calls, making multiple outbound calls to potential clients daily
  • Prospect for sales opportunities through phone contact, email, mail, customer visits and other communication channels
  • Qualify leads generated from digital campaigns, conferences, references, and tradeshows
  • Maintain client and prospect information in company databases (Salesforce, CRM, Excel)
  • Develop and close business opportunities to expand customer base and increase wallet share
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services, and effectively communicate them to potential and existing customers
  • Maintain individual sales activities and contacts to support the sales process
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas
  • Provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Represent the company at trade shows and customer sites, as needed
  • Provide direct support of TSC/Printronix Auto I.D. partners in their efforts to sell OEM branded supplies through the DLS production platform

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience in labels or related printer supplies
  • Knowledge of flexographic and digital printing technologies and processes
  • Experience with customer prospecting and sales base development
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship building
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Suite, etc.)

  Flexographic Press Operator (Itasca, IL - 2nd Shift)

Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS) is currently seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join our 2nd shift production team. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to be a key player in the DLS manufacturing process. This is a dynamic position that is very challenging and rewarding for someone who enjoys a fast paced, quality-oriented environment.

Pay Range:

$28.00 to $33.00 per hour

 

Job Functions/Requirements:

  • Proficiently set-up, adjust and operate a flexographic press with minimal direct supervision, including the performance of more complex printing functions such as RFID insertion and in-line variable imaging.
  • Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the press
  • Review job order and understand processes required for production
  • Evaluate finished material on press, making necessary color or press adjustments to meet quality standards
  • Work as part of a team that is committed to producing a quality product and meeting company objectives in a safe and clean working environment
  • Cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks as necessary

 

Attributes:

  • Ability to consistently produce product within customer specifications, with minimal number of production errors
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and self-directed
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work overtime hours as needed to meet customer requirements
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 70 lbs

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses
  • Ink mixing, plate mounting and support experience
  • Knowledge of 5S and S.M.E.D.
  • Experience with Jennerjahn surface winder for small roll production a plus

  Supplies Sales Specialist (Duluth, GA)

Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS), a leading manufacturer of adhesive based labels, is currently seeking Supplies Sales Specialist to join our Duluth, GA team. Reporting to the Director of OEM Sales, the Supplies Specialist will support the establishment of new media supplies customers as well as the ongoing development of existing customers. This position requires prospecting, business opportunity qualification, sales closure, and post-sale customer maintenance in support of internal and external customers.

 

Job Functions/Requirements:

  • Provide direct support of TSC/Printronix Auto I.D. partners in their efforts to sell OEM branded supplies through the DLS production platform

  Inventory Control Clerk (Duluth, GA)

Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS) is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Clerk to join our Duluth, GA team. This position is responsible for researching, reviewing and executing processes used to control internally produced and externally purchased inventory. This is a dynamic position that is very challenging and rewarding for someone who enjoys a fast paced, quality-oriented environment.

 

Job Functions/Requirements:

  • Perform accurate physical counts and audits of material, identifying, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Update and maintain inventory records within company ERP system, identifying items to be changed, added or removed from inventory
  • Visually examine materials for defects, damage and wear
  • Ensure that all product is handled in accordance with established inventory management policies and procedures

 

Attributes/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years Inventory Control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements and industry standards
  • Excellent audit skills, with a strong math aptitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while working with speed and competence
  • Willingness to work overtime hours, as needed, to meet business objectives
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, twisting, and pulling/pushing of objects
  • Experience safely using standard material handling equipment, including fork-lift and pallet jack
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and standard inventory control software
