Flexo Press Operator (Duluth, GA and Itasca, IL - 2nd Shift)
Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS) is currently seeking Flexographic Press Operators to join our 2nd shift production teams in Duluth, GA and Itasca, IL. These positions offer the right candidate the opportunity to be a key player in the DLS manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiently set-up, adjust and operate a flexographic press with minimal direct supervision
- Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the press
- Read and review job order and understand processes required for production
- Continuously monitor finished material on press, making necessary color or press adjustments to meet quality standards
- Work as part of a team that is committed to producing a quality product and meeting company objectives in a safe and clean working environment
- Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks as necessary
- Prolonged standing with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses preferred, but will train the right candidate
- Ink mixing, plate mounting and support experience preferred
- Ability to consistently produce product within customer specifications, with minimal number of production errors
- Excellent trouble shooting skills in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and self-directed
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime hours as needed to meet customer requirements

Digital Press Operator (Itasca, IL - Second Shift)

- Create specified printed label material using the latest digital print technology, including HP Indigo, INX and Colordyne label presses
- Review job specifications and understand processes required for production
- Evaluate finished material on press, making necessary adjustments to meet quality standards

- Cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks as necessary

Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Arlington, TX)
Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS) has an exciting new position open for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Arlington, TX team. This is a dynamic position that is very challenging and rewarding for someone who enjoys a fast paced, quality-oriented environment.
Job Functions/Requirements:
- Pull customer orders and prepare related packing documents in an accurate and prompt manner following established procedures.
- Prepare outbound shipments; including boxing and/or palletizing of materials using appropriate shipping materials and preparing relevant shipping documentation
- Unload inbound material from trucks in an organized and efficient manner
- Process receiving tasks related to inbound shipments; including unpacking, inspection, counting, scanning and put-away of inbound material.
- Schedule freight carriers for daily pick-ups
- Prepare small package shipments using appropriate software
- Effectively collaborate with other members of the team to reconcile discrepancies

Qualifications:

- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, twisting, and pulling/pushing of objects
- Experience safely using standard material handling equipment, including fork-lift and pallet jack
- Working knowledge of computers and shipping/receiving software including UPS and Fed Ex software
- Experience and basic knowledge of Excel
- Able to monitor and communicate clearly via email
- Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving documents
- High School Diploma or equivalent
